Dr Gullbrand obtained his BA in biology and psychology from Gettysburg College and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston.

 

After graduating he served four years in the US Army at Fort Riley, Kansas, part of the time as the division optometrist for the First Infantry Division.  After his time in the military, Dr. Gullbrand and his family moved to Maine where he opened his Buxton practice in 1991.  Over his 34 years he has been a steadfast contributor to many local charities and school related activities.  When not working he enjoys the many wonderful things about living in Vacationland with his wife of 40 years.
